Due to the implementation of Republic Act No. 10533 or Enhanced Basic Education Act of 2013, the Department of Education (DepEd) released the policy guidelines on Daily Lesson Log for the K to 12 Basic Education Program.

To ensure effective delivery of teaching and learning in schools, planning lessons is considered a necessity. It supports teachers in organizing and managing their classes and lessons effectively and efficiently.

Preparing for lessons through the Daily Lesson Log (DLL) or Detailed Lesson Plan (DLP) provide teachers with an opportunity to reflect on what students need to learn, how to teach them and how to facilitate learning process.
